Why is Frozen such a big thing?

Just my curiosity speaking here. Seems like Frozen is everywhere I go and people say it's the best movie ever. I have seen it, I liked it ok but I just don't think it lives up to it's hype. It leaves a lot to be desired both plot and character-wise in my opinion.

That's why I want to ask you people who love it what makes Frozen so good in your eyes? I'm not attacking anyone here, I'm just genuinely curious.
